The measurements shown in the chart are garment measures. We recommend you pick your favorite long-sleeve tee, lay it flat, and measure it:

  • The width is the distance from armhole to armhole, across the chest.
  • The length is the distance from the top of the shoulder to the hem.
  • The sleeve length from center back is the distance from the center of the back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down to the end of the sleeve. Start measuring from the center point where the back neckline meets the shoulder seams, then run the tape over the shoulder and down to the cuff of the sleeve.

Artist Statement

This design is inspired by queer leather culture and my appreciation for a rugged gay bear. When I was in college, I drew this bear cartoon in a newspaper comic strip representing the college's mascot (the Golden Grizzlies). Here, he sports a hunky leather cap and is posed to pay homage to Tom of Finland's work depicting gay men in leather. It was a nostalgic project for me, and I hope my bear is charming to all the leather folks, grizzly bears, and hunky daddies!
