Artist Statement

I kept thinking about two things this crowd already loves, the otter and the cowboy, and how nobody had put them on the same shirt. So I gave a scruffy little otter a ten gallon hat, a red bandana, and the most self satisfied wink I could draw. He is small, he is proud, and he knows exactly what he is doing. This one is for every otter who has ever moseyed into a room and owned it.
