Lake Ontario Bear

A grizzly standing upright in a plain white tee that reads LAKE ONTARIO. He isn't taking a vote on it. In August 2026 an executive order renamed the lake Lake America for federal purposes. The name it replaced comes from the Wendat word Ontari'io and has been on maps for more than four hundred years, longer than either country that argues over it. The bear works both ways here: ours, and the animal that stays put when you tell it to move.
