Horror Hunk

Horror Hunk. Two words that should've always gone together.

This design is for the gay men who grew up with horror. The ones who stayed up too late watching creature features, who knew every line of every slasher, who loved the monster a little more than they were supposed to. It's for the guys who are equal parts scary movie obsessive and full-on hunk, and who've never seen any contradiction in that.

The graphic pulls from vintage horror poster typography: distressed lettering, halftone texture, that unmistakable drive-in double feature energy. Bold enough to stop a room. Specific enough that the right people will get it immediately.

Artist Statement

I didn't come up with the name. That credit goes to a member of the Hunky Tribe who goes by Horror Hunk on Instagram. The moment I saw it, I knew it needed to be a shirt.

The design pulls from vintage horror poster typography: rough, distressed, dripping with pulpy drive-in energy. For everyone who grew up loving the monster a little more than they were supposed to.
