Bringing Hunky Tops to Night City: Halloween Edition

Q&A with JamieCross1477

What inspired you to bring Hunky Tops designs into Cyberpunk 2077?

The designs I’ve seen are just adorable. When I stumbled upon the website, I fell in love with them and wanted to bring them to my favorite game!

What drew you to the Halloween theme for this mod?

The timing. Since it was October, I felt like being festive, and I’m hoping to have a pack for Christmas too!

What’s your process like when working on mods like this? How did you bring these designs to life in the game?

Adding clothing items to the game has gotten a lot easier over the years, but I still have to do a lot of research and lean on a lot of friends to help me when I need it. Having their support, as well as having them model the clothing with their characters, definitely breathes life into the mod/process!

How do you think these Hunky Tops designs add to the atmosphere of Night City?

I think in contrast to the dark city streets, these designs offer not only more color, but more of a sense of individuality too.

Do you have a favorite design from the collection? Why?

Honestly, the Rainbow Pumpkin and the “My boyfriend is a werewolf” shirt. The simplicity of the first is definitely a fit for my OC, and the second is a strong favorite because my other OC is a werewolf! 😆

As a modder, what do you enjoy most about creating custom content for games like Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 is the first video game I’ve created mods for, and it’s been a very different experience in the best of ways. Being able to expand on the world of a game makes the experience feel fresh every time!

What’s been the most rewarding part of working on this project?

The best rewards of working on these projects are when it’s able to help bring people in the community together, and when it brings a little more pride to Night City.

How can others support your work or connect with you?

My profile on Nexus Mods is a great way to get in touch with me, and if anyone wants to support my work, you can always buy me a coffee! You can always spread the word too!

Thank you for this opportunity, and I’m excited to start working on the next pack! 💜 Jamie Cross
